I need to be baptized as i fear demon possesion

Ever sense i went to the catholic church a few weeks ago. I hear things evil things laughter. I went from being a protestant to going to a catholic church and is on my to start getting ready. What should i do the voice is so evil and he whispers in my ear that he will possess me. I know the baptism will save me. But ive read that when someone is in danger the priest can baptize them in order to save their soul/spirit/body. I know this is the devils way of keeping me away from jesus christ and the real church of god! PLEASE !!! HELP!! THE DEMON WILL POSSES ME TONIGHT IF I DONT GET BAPTIZED CAN THEY WILL ME THE PRIEST IN MY PRIASH IS VERY KIND AND UNDERSTANDING

You must talk to your trusted priest about this no matter how embarrassing it feels and he will tell you what appropriate steps to take next.

Take a breath everything will be ok! You are a child of God. Read Psalm 91 aloud tonight and have a good rest.

If you own any occult items (tarot cards, charms, ouija boards, spell books, new age stuff get rid of it.

Talk to your priest in the morning but meanwhile, pray to the Lord Jesus, Pray the Rosary and ask Saint Benedict to help you. Ask Saint Michael and your guardian Angel to protect you and make the sign of the cross.

If you become scared or feel unsafe go to the hospital’s emergency department!

Do you have a history of such symptoms, been involved with drugs or on medications?
If so you need to see your specialists as soon as possible.
 
I do not see the relevance of your Vatican reference to possession or Satanic contracts caused by mortal sin?

Wow, I didn’t pick up any of that in your post - nor did the OP say anything about having committed mortal sins.
 
If other causes are ruled out this is simply diabolical harassment or oppression. Or a combination of things. Like others have said possession is really rare. Remember that demons are liars. It’s what they do. And a cleric will help one suffering from this more than anyone here. Also even people that receive sacraments still suffer sometimes. Best wishes.
 
also, isn’t holy oil administered to a catechumen?

Sometimes. Sometimes it is just a sign of the cross these days depending on what happens… But the bishop or someone doing it is usually standard. Or sometimes both. I think it is supposed to be required. It is a minor exorcism no? Idk. But good point.
 
I(t is a minor exorcism to protect against what’s happening to the OP. Thank you for that information. I couldn’t remember for sure.
 
Yeah. I stood in for a sponsor once now that I think about it I think the bishop still did his his hands and head and everything.

Were you Baptized in a Protestant Church? If yes, that was valid and no other Baptism is needed.

Remember that Satan is the father of lies. Demons lie all of the time. He may be threatening you with possession, but probably cannot possess you.
