I have a problem that has been giving me a great cause for worry lately.

I can’t bring it up to my doctor because he makes me feel awkward. In other words he is a bit creepy. I really want to ask someone about it, but it’s just so embarrassing.

If there is just one of you who will take me seriously, and I mean very seriously, could you PM me so I can tell you.

No pranks now, this isn’t funny.

May I suggest that you indicate something about the type of person you would like to contact you?

eg.
  • female, over 40, some medical knowledge
  • male, 20 to 30, no medical knowledge needed
  • etc…etc…
Good luck with it 🙂

Hi, Zundrah. I remember you from some time ago. Did you ever go through with RCIA?

Fellow posters, if you want to help Zundrah, you will find it useful to look up her past posts.

I think this is a good indication that you need to find a new doctor. Really. There’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to see someone with whom you are more comfortable. Pick a female if you’re female and look up reviews online to see who has a good bedside manner. Your insurance company can give you a list of eligible doctors. Even if you are able to confide in someone else about whatever particular issue you’re facing now, I would still suggest dropping any doctor who you perceive to be “a bit creepy”.

Good advice about changing doctors, but the above does not apply as Zundrah lives in the UK. (Unless of course she is going private, that is to say, not using the NHS).

Zundrah, you need to ask your firends and neighbours for recommendations. Did you know, also, it is very easy to change both your doctor and the medical practice you attend? No questions are asked, you don’t have to say why you want to change. Just go into the practice you want to transfer to, and ask the receptionist what to do.

You can feel free to pm me if you like and I will do the best I can, but I am certainly not a doctor, so don’t expect me to be.

Yeah well, he has had many complaints. I’m surprised he is still there to be honest.

Great idea! I’ll do it tomorrow.

All humans are welcome. My doctor isn’t creepy because he is male, he is creepy because he is creepy.
