I really don’t have money. That’s why I’m asking for a DR Bible.

if you truly cannot afford a bible ask at your parish and you will probably be given a low cost edition of the bible approved for liturgy in your country (NAB in the US). The DR is not approved for liturgy and in any case is almost impossible to find. The DR-Challoner is available in paperback, but it is not cheap. Since most bible translations are available on line anyone with access to a computer has access to a bible.

Yes, asking your Priest or the Bishop will show great results. No doubt that one of them will provide you with a nice, good-quality Bible. The Douay-Rheims is a very beautiful, and extremely accurate translation, but it is not widely available. It is published, however, by Baronius Press and St Benedict Press, and a few other little Catholic companies.

They carry DR at all the Catholic bookstores in my area and on Amazon. It’s published a variety of hardcover, leather and paperbacks at reasonable prices. The ebook versions are free.
