Canon law defines a parish as a given territory (with some exceptions). Proper catechesis is one which teaches to follow the canon law, not ignore it.

Am I going to have to look up law to say why the faithful have a right to proper teaching and to not go to a parish that has a dissident for a pastor? I will if I have to! And I am sure I will find the support I need.

Mind you the evidence is not completely in there but quibbling over that when all the signs are there is besides the point.

I have no reason to disagree with Fr. David. But at this point, I believe you are fine with proceeding were you are, as liberal as it might be. Even a lay person can baptize, so long as the form and matter are proper. (Using water and the Trinitarian formula.) Just because you live east of street x and north of street y will not invalidate your Baptism. Trust God, everything will be fine. When you get to Heaven, St.Peter will not reject you because of some geography. God will not deny you on a technically. It is better to be technically correct, but given that it no fault of your own, get it done and do what you need to do to get away from those who do not care to be subject to the Church.
