The Saint Joseph Sunday Missal, complete GIANT TYPE edition. Just what my eyes need. I used it for the first time today, and it does make it easier to understand what some of the speakers are saying, filtering out their accents.
And today’s gospel reading was that of the Pridigal Son. Which happens to be my story. Yet I also feel for the elder brother, and wonder if he was able to swallow his pride and anger, and enter the house to meet his long-lost brother. I also have to learn to do just that. To forgive others as well as myself.
In any case, the book has the full three year cycle, so I regard it as a welcome long term investment, even if money is short this month from lack of overtime.
