Thanks to a very nice person I now own two 3rd class relics of Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity. 😃

They are 2 novena cards with her photo, with a piece of cloth that has touched a piece of her habit and hair.

Anyone own any relics? 🙂

Congrats on the acquisition !

I have two cards as well with bits of the garments of two saints. St Bonosa and St Magnus, Both died in the Colosseum at the hands of Emperor Septimius Severus in A.D. 207.

The garments were actually on the skeletal remains of these two saints, but they received new garments recently.

While its not mine the religious minister at my school has a piece of st teresa of calcutta’s habit. And while our church is part of a small community and it is very old. Our church has a first class relic, I have heard from e minister and sisters and pastor that we have a piece of the cross in the altar. As the altar says “a privilegiata altare”.

I have a note that was typed and signed by Mother Teresa. Not a relic yet, but it will be soon I hope 🙂

I have a few Padre Pio 3rd class relics, and a few others, I believe.

I have a card as well. It contains a piece of cloth that was touched to a relic of St Charles Borromeo.

We (my wife and I) have two 1st class relics -
St. Thomas Aquinas
St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton

Both are from the saint’s bones

We do not consider that we “own” them, but are merely caretakers of them. We often allow others to hold on to them for extended periods of time as their situations, especially when near the heart of the saint, may suggest.

We also have a number of 2nd and 3rd class relics in our house from various saints including St. Gianna Molla.

My KofC council is also the caretaker of a 1st class relic of St. Mary Magdalene (our parish namesake) and we are often blessed with the opportunity to bring her into our home.

Please help me obtain the hair relic of Mother Teresa! My parish is going to hold a display saints ritual and we are looking for relics! Please!

We had a relic of St Faustina at our Divine Mercy Sunday liturgy (not Mass, but chaplet and Adoration with benediction - Mass was in the morning). I touched the cross of my rosary to the 1st class relic, so me too! 😃

As of his canonization, we will have relics in the form of rosaries handed to my husband, my daughters and myself by Bl. (soon to be saint) Pope John Paul II.
