i REALLY need prayer

hi how are you, im alright but ive had no luck finding a job around me the past 7 months ive lived here same state but pretty far away from friends and family, Ii have no car to get places i have to walk so i need something close by right now until i save up enough money for a new car, anyway i would really appreciate some prayers for me to get to work, earn lots of money so i can live comfortably, and also that i quit smoking ciggarettes because that takes up all the little money i get from social security each month, not to mention how bad they are for me, my names Kevin, please pray to Mary or Jesus for me, i am gonna learn how to pray the rosary because i know theres power there, ive personally felt her warmth on my hands the 1st time i tried praying it, that was in 2004 or 2005, thanks so much for any prayers you offer for me and God bless you. - KG:thumbsup:

I’ll pray for you, and I definitely encourage you to continue praying, and the rosary can’t be recommended enough.

Some friendly advice: there is nothing which God allows in our lives that we can’t somehow deal with, but often people only ask to be relieved of their current burdens. I’d advise you to instead emphasize in your prayers that you desire God’s help in bearing your current burdens, and that these current burdens make you stronger in spirit and faith.

And yes, definitely quit cigarettes. Not only will you save money but you will also make yourself stronger and less prone to costly medical care in the near and far future. If you think your troubles are bad now, wait till you have emphysema. :eek:
