In my dream, there was a posessed woman. My grandmother who died almost ten years ago,was there too. She was the one who told us to sing a prayer, it’s “Our Father” but in my language. At first, I couldn’t do it properly as I kept forgetting the lines. Then suddenly, I started singing it beautifully. My voice became different but it was beautiful. While I sang, I prayed. I thought of God, and I prayed that the posessed woman would be healed. I was touching her face/head while singing, I think. Then my dream ended with me forgetting the last word of the song prayer and the woman still posessed, Lol.

Have you ever experienced praying in your dream? This is one of the creepiest dreams I had. Creepy because of the possesed woman and the beginning of my dream where it felt like I was having a nightmare. But it’s a good dream too because I got to be with my grandmother whom I miss so much. Also, I visualised God. In my dream, he appeared while I sang. But it was kinda blurry.

“I sang a prayer in my dream. What does this mean?”

Absolutely nothing, we all do weird things in our dreams, and we’re not allowed to believe in dreams.

It’s against the 1st commandment to believe that your dreams give you insight into certain things.
That’s a form of Divination.

So, St. Peter disobeyed God by following the instructions of his dream concerning mosaic dietary practices?

What? Of course some St.s receive revelations in their dreams, but then they’re revelations, and not exactly dreams.
I don’t know how the Saints knew that what they saw in their “dreams” was God-sent or not.
But if you see something in your dreams, that you think is a serious revelation, you should talk to your confessor before believing it means something.

Dreams are a mishmash of a lot of things go on in our conscious and subconscious minds. Some make sense, and others don’t. While a weird dream can be disturbing, I wouldn’t worry about it.

@BridgetN offered the best advice, I think. Just talk to your pastor about it.
