I saw and heared a demon.

I have never prayed I never really been catholic in my life which I never really did care. My parents always fight a lot but they been like that since I was born so it was never really a problem.

One day I felt like if something was wrong I stay home alone since I as young which I didn’t mind but one day i felt like I was being watched after that I kept seeing shadowy figures in the corner of my house. I thought I was just sleepy and started imagining things and brushed it off.

But on day I got sleep paralysis and I was asleep a girl was whispering in my ear saying “ go away, go away, “ over and over chanting it I look toward the direction of the voice just to see two red eyes staring at me.

The next thing I had once again had sleep paralysis in another day i woke up only to hear and see a male screaming in a high pitched voice next to my ear. ( which after that I went to doctor who said my eardrum popped ) the image was so disturbing to me I cried so much my eyes were hurting.

I finally got out of the sleep paralysis and ran toward my sister room breaking out into sobs. I was sitting in her bed and the next thing I saw was horrifying. I saw around five or six black shapes in the front of my sisters closet which is facing me.

Its like if those figures were talking to themselves whispering. I could hear voices but I just couldn’t figure out what they were saying. Thought I saw some figures fly up while some stayed down.

They next couple of days nothing happened which I was glad for that but one day I turned over to my mirror seeing a girl with black hair covering her face. I was frozen in my spot I blinked a couple times to see if I really was seeing a girl. But the figure wasn’t there anymore.

After what I seen I believe I saw demons and heared of them. I don’t know what to do I told my parents but they don’t believe me. I begged them to take me to a priest and they did the priest told me there wasn’t anything wrong with me but I knew better than that.

My tia however believed me when she was little she could tell if there were spirits around her. My family is pretty complicated my tias has always said they have dreams to where my dead grandpa came and talked to them to go back to his house and dig up something. Turns out my family can communicate with spirits.

But the rest of my family members brushed it off saying we were just crazy.

What should I do?

Ask the priest to give you the prayer to Saint Michael the archangel. Also, learn the sign of the cross. These are powerful weapons against evil spirits. Also, desire to learn more about God. Pray, pray, pray. Out loud or just in your thoughts say Jesus help me. Jesus protect me. Jesus save me. I love you Jesus. You get the idea. If the priest does not take this seriously go to another priest.

You need to be evaluated by a doctor ASAP. Also, contact a Catholic priest. Even if you aren’t Catholic they will help you.

you may or not have seen demons

they didn’t seem to’ve physically harmed you or your family

calm down

the demons are ultimately harmless over you

just don’t allow them to be

pray to your guardian angel & recite the classic St Michael’s prayer

relax; all will be well…

Don’t go to your Tias for advice on this matter. Since you call them your Tias, I assume you are Latino or Latina. I am Mexican and I can tell you every Mexican family has a Tia that thinks she can communicate with spirits or thinks that she has some kind of supernatural gift. Mexicans are superstitious. Also, i am amazed how often some think nothing of mixing pagan religious beliefs with Catholicism. Whatever you do, don’t go any try to battle anything by doing some ritual or talking with a brujo or bruja.

If your Tias can communicate with spirits then the spirits they communicate with are most likely not of God. Communicating with or trying to talk with spirits is called “Necromancy” and is forbidden to do in The Bible. I am not saying that they are necessarily doing anything wrong, some people probably are more sensitive to the spiritual things but if they are not a Priest, Bishop or at least a Deacon then its best to take what they say with a grain of salt. Lots of people get convinced by people who claim to have supernatural senses to perform rituals that are supposed to make the “Demons” go away but use demonic means to try to do it. It does not work. It is only inviting more demonic activity into someones life.

First off, get medically evaluated to see if something is wrong with you and also ask a priest to come and bless your house. They can do a “deliverance prayer” if demonic activity is happening. Ask for a “deliverance prayer” to be done in your home. That is all you need to do.

Also, sleep paralysis is normal and it’s not uncommon to see strange things and feel like there is a evil presence among you. Sleep paralysis happens to me when I am very sleep deprived. I use to think it was demonic until I learned it was normal. Then I was fine.

Do not panic. Just try to get closer to God. If you never cared to before then now would be a good time to begin caring. God bless.

No I haven’t and It’s fine if you don’t believe me about the demon thing sometimes I just look back on to what I saw thinking that maybe I was just imagining things but I know I wasn’t I know why it’s real.

Thought I do have a mental illness it’s called PBA it’s when I laugh or smile In inappropriate times.

Have Holy Water in your house and wear a blessed scapular and Miraculous Medal

Sleep paralysis is a natural (albeit terrifying) condition, known to cause vivid nightmares and an unshakable sense of dread. Seeing “eyes” or evil creatures is common. If this is happening frequently, you should speak to a doctor about potential treatments.

Attributing a natural condition to a demon is spiritually unhealthy and distressing, and may make the sleep paralysis unnecessarily worse.

Speaking to a sympathic priest may also help you learn to discern natural conditions from spiritual influences.

If you think you saw a demon, you need either a mental health counselor or a priest. I would recommend that you speak to both.

You don’t need the Internet. You don’t need a bunch of people telling you how to deal with your demon, Ghostbusters-style.

Nothing I can really suggest that has not been already. Medical check up and see your preist. Pray the St Michael prayer and Rosary.

Anyway I just wanted you to know that you will be in my prayers!!

Several priests and catholics in the Vatican approved catholic charismatic renewal deliverance ministry have stated:

-Exorcism can only be performed by a priest under permission of his bishop for full on cases of possession or a place or item that has demonic infestation.

-but deliverance prayers for minor situations such as this, can be said by any catholic,
As the bible says: ‘Deliver us from evil.’
And Jesus promised: ‘BELIEVERS WILL CAST OUT DEMONS, and throd on the whole might of the enemy.’
(This is not exorcism, but using the authority of the Name of Jesus for your own protection.)

The bible says: ‘All who call upon the Name of Jesus will be saved.’ And: ‘Lord even the demons leave when we use your Name.’

Think or speak the Name of Jesus if you experience such again, and like the bible says, demons must leave.

The ICCR Website of the Vatican approved doctrinal commission into the Catholic Charismatic renewal states that a priest performing exorcism is only for full cases of possession, but that it is biblical that all christians can pray for deliverance of minor spiritual attacks, which it approves is a biblical thing that a christian can experience as a result of sin (of ancestors or of yourself), involvement in the occult (from your building, ancestors, or self), curse from a satanist upon you (which causes demonic infestation),

There is no harm in praying for spiritual protection/ deliverance (whatever the root cause is; demonic/ medical/ imagination). As prayer is heard by God.

One such priest in the Vatican Catholic charismatic renewal was a friend of Mother Angelica of EWTN (Fr Robert De Grandis) and he wrote a number of catholic charismatic renewal deliverance prayers (deliverance prayers are approved by the Vatican’s ICCR Doctrinal Commission) that can be found at the end of the two free downloadable ebooks on www.larrycummins.ie
