This is to all of you, Christian or not,
Recently, it has become harder for me to remain calm when faced with some posters. Because of this, I am asking for your prayers and your thoughts (for those of you who do not pray). I am going to take a few days off to regroup.

Just so you will know, I am having a harder time dealing with those who cannot or will not answer where their information is from. I do not mind different views or even stubborn posters. I ma having trouble being kind to people who are not here to discuss but are here to be, for lack of a better term, idiots.

As always, I pray for you all.

I pray the Holy Spirit be with you. There are few if any here at CAF that I respect more than you. Please do not stay away long.

We’ll miss you. You are one of the most charitable posters on Non-catholic religions. We could all learn something from you and your witness for your faith.

Just remember: Wherever God wisks you to, there you’ll be. 😃

I usually don’t talk to people who act like idiots or clowns on CAF. If they accuse the Church of something or make an outrageous claim, I’ll just pray for them, because that’s the best that I can do. A couple of times, I’ll drop links to information; whether or not people accept said information, or even click on the links, is not my business. But mostly I’ll just pray for people. Prayer is always good; our Heavenly Father knows how to correct and instruct His children, even when we think we know what is best for others - ah, but such an attitude is the fruit of self-love, so we must pray for humility, trust in God, and remember that all is grace and we are nothing and we can do nothing apart from God, who is goodness itself.

Agreed, it’s also saddening when threads are made allegedly for ‘discussion’ with protestants and it always ends up ‘you’re going to hell, satan is conquering you, you are wrong’. Regardless of whether a user sees this to be true, you can’t invite charitable discussion and then be uncharitable!
Not that we should ever be uncharitable of course.

We all need a break, every so often. I myself, take breaks, every once in a while and have been placed on “vacation”, an involuntary break, which probably kept me from getting myself banned. I don’t want to see you getting banned from here. Breaks are a good thing, take care…

We will miss you. If possible, please reconsider. BTW, it seems to me that you borrow from General Douglas Mc Arthur. Make sure the CAF is like the Leyte Gulf, where you will join the discussion again.

I’ll be praying for you too. I’m also one who needs to take breaks when I find that the “mood” here online takes me into my own mood offline.

Take all the time you need and do what God tells you to do. Get refreshed by adoration! That’s where I always go (run) to.

Yep, I agree with all here…even though we have not always seen eye to eye, I can say that you have been one of the best here to talk to. I am not here to find people to kiss my rear, but I also want respected for what I believe too and I believe you have done that. You are a true example of a Christian! I understand though, I think we all probably need to take a break now and then from this place…you can wind up with a very bad attitidue and I have done it on more than one occasion and then end up even being ill at my family for something somebody said on here!!! When that happens, it is time for a break!!! God Bless You.
