if it wasn’t for you guys i wouldn’t have ever went to confession, i manned up & did & Yes sometimes i go overboard when it comes to sin, but im trying to be the christian guy i use to be & i’m making sure

I’m not OCD over sin, i was curious

And 1 thing, did i sin because my mom asked me what type of girl i like & i said i dont know even though i knew ? idk, i don’t want to discuss it with my mom lol I’m not OCD over sin i’m just trying to be sinless i try not to Cuss, Lust after girls, try not to say oh my god as much my priest told me it was a venial sin but i try not to say it as much he said even saying oh my god is not bad to say he just try not say it as much & im trying & i never stop praying AS i Said before I’m not OCD over sin Sometimes i go overboard But haven’t you before ?

I’m Glad you got to confession. Congratulations.

Christ tells us that we are to be perfet as our heavenly father is perfect. (Mt 5:48)
He sets the bar quite high, so - No I don’t think you are being “OCD” in the things you are trying to accomplish.
Culture today is a whirlpool of bad influences so maybe you just have to “Pull Harder” against the flow to keep from getting sucked into evil. Keep working at it and keep going to confession and communion regularly.
