I think I am under attack

Jesus,
Please do not let the soul of Archus covet Your being God or Mary being sinless.

Help him through this tough time of feeling despair and despondence. Please put his mind at ease concerning the mysteries of faith and do not let him stray from his faith because of questions and doubts.

Instead, grace him with so much of Your presence that this becomes an opportunity for him to grow in his faith as his roots reach deeper in spiritual soil. Often it feels like our faith is being tested and please give him and all of us the grace necessary to persevere in faith and to keep our eyes beyond the moment so we remember that every simple prayer is providential.

Please cast the devil aside as to not allow these frightful feelings any longer.

Sometimes it feels unfair as we live our lives because You are perfect, Jesus, and we may think that it was easy for You because You are God. Help Archus and all of us remember that You lived fully as a human and experienced everything we go through and amplified more so because You carried the weight of the world’s sin.

We beg for Your mercy, Lord!

Not only that; let us exult too, in our hardships, understanding that hardship develops perseverance, and perseverance develops a tested character, and character gives us hope, a hope which will not let us down , because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. Rom 5:3
