I think I might be getting ripped off

I did a job for someone. It took me a long time to do, but I did do a great Job.

Now, I think the person who hired me for it is trying to weasel his way out of paying me.

I did make a mistake in the understanding of the agreement, but, like I said, I completed it and did a good Job. Now I think he’s using that as a pretense to not pay me.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Almighty God, the Holy Catholic Church teaches that defrauding workers of their just wages (Jas 5:4) is a sin crying out to heaven for vengeance. We pray for justice for Polly Lodges so that she is fairly compensated. And we ask God for mercy for the employer who defrauded her so that he will repent – thus thus being spared the penalty of this grave sin.
