Muhammad pbuh told us the same thing, that a false Prophet would come to decieve people, but he gave us a detailed description of him and the signs of the time of his appearance, and he also gave us a detailed discription of Jesus pbuh and of the signs that'll take place before his descend from heaven so that we don't get confused between the two. Did Jesus pbuh tell u anything about the false prophet you're talking about. To my knowledge all christians say that Muhammad pbuh is not mentioned in the Bible not a word about him.

That’s why nearly everything debated on this forum boils down to the assumption that the Quran indeed IS from God. In short, Muslims carry this assumption behind everything they say, while we see no reason to believe the Quran in the first place. Without reconciling this, most of the other arguments posted on here will just prove futile.

I think the poster meant that Jesus said false prophets would come into the world… as in, plural. And no, no specific details about any particular false prophet. There will be way too many over the course of time to make that at all practical. Look how many are out there even today.

It is obvious you have no reason to believe the Qur’an from God, the same thing applies to the Bible as far as we are concerned.
We don’t have to reconcile anything, we are not forcing anyone to believe its content, this forum is titled Islam and it is natural Muslims quote from their holy book; at least it gives a glimpse of what the Qur’an is for those who say negative thing (like saying it is from satan) without even bothering to read at least part of it. If the Church admitted that Muslims and Catholics worship the same God (the Creator), I don’t think it was out of charity; they have read the book and they were honest enough to state that part of the truth. Some others who have read the Book with open mind, found in it the remedy for their lost and wandering souls and a solid resting place to their faith. Alhamdulillah (Praises to be to Allah)

You are not forcing any one to believe its content but you are forcing everyone to follow the contents. Of course it is natural to quote from your own book. That’s because our God teaches about love one another. Not to kill the non believers/infidels. Thus, we love you even though you say my God was not crucified (one of the most important part of Christianity faith). Not because your faith has part right. Its just because we spread love not HATE. WE really would like to believe for what you said. If islam is a peace religion… then please stop killing people, terrorizing and intimidating minority.

For those who think Islam is a good religion. May be so BUT before you come to that conclusion you must first study the history if islam. First spend a good deal of time researching out the history of islam and read the quran carefully. Listen to what muslims call justice.
Listen to the imams and clerics preaching in the masques every Friday and pay particular attention to the content of the message. You need to get a sense for the underlying agenda. is it salvation or something else? You need to study the practice of Dimmhitude. You need to research how other religions are tolerated in Muslim countries.
You need to compare muslim behavior and actions with those of other religions of the world. How many people have been murdered in the name of what religions? You need to research how may churches and masques and temples have been forcefully taken over by what religious group throughout history. You need to study what is the most warring religion on the earth. When you have carefully done all these things and documented all of these questions, then you can come to some conclusion about how wonderful islam really is.

Those so call moslem fanatics are true followers of Islam, Muhammed was a violent person , who forced people to convert or die. you are right it is a good religion, but i would rather have personal relationship with the true GOD of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

My brother, of course we are against terrorism, and to tell u the truth people like binladen, zarakawi, and their followers ....I don't even consider them muslims. Infact if i know where binladen is, i'd hand him over without reward, and i'm sure Allah will reward me for that. But what aggravates muslims is that once those guys turned against you, you started blaming muslims and accusing Islam as a whole for the act of a bunch of criminals (whom by the way, the US used to support them and send them weapons while they where fighting Russia). If he quotes verses from the Qur'an that doesn't make him a muslim, he's done more harm to Islam than to anyone else.Peace

That’s a fair approach, however its results hang on where the information comes from. We know Islam has been/is under attack since its apparition and it is, no matter what we say or bring, NOT going to stop.
We are here to enjoy the company of our Catholic Brothers/Sisters and try as much as we can to conduct healthy discussions with them; you know, after all, we all die, we have other precious things to dobefore it is over: worship God. One does not have to make a big deal of the differences and burn his heart.

YOur prophet beheaded and killed thousands of people, Christ never harmed a soul. Any Muslim country will tax, at the very least, a non-muslim. If you are a Muslim who leaves the faith you will be jailed (at the very least), or executed. A good Muslim (meaning one who thinks his religion is about peace, but really a 'bad " Muslim in so far as he follows his religion the way it was meant to be followed ) is one who is ignorant of the real Muslim teachings, but in reality he is not an orthodox Muslim(meaning one who follows the way Mohammad intended, like bin Laden). An orthodox Catholic, in comparison, to an orthodox Muslim is one who is full of love, as Jesus was, and would never kill in the name of religion, because the Catholic Faith teaches you cannot convert someone by force. You see it is the complete opposite, as Christian who is “Bad” as you say is not really following Christianity, but a “bad” Muslim IS really following Islam. I am sure people will not like what I say, I mean no malice, but it is true, whether you want to believe it or not. You just have to read history, humbly and prayerfully.

The Son of God built His one church and ensured us that He would be with it and it would last forever. It is impossible for me to believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would overrule his one church to build another one 632 years later. The new kid on the block is an heretical imposter. Those that do not believe the Son of God and are not baptised are condemned by God’s Word. The infallible doctrines of the Church God built are the commands that rule my life.

Unless you believe Jesus and are baptized, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven in accordance with God’s own Word. I recommend the infallible doctrines held by God’s church as the rules to follow for salvation.
