I think Islam is a good religion.

I wonder though, does that only apply to Muslims? Throughout history, there have been very clear signs of compulsion in the Islamic religion towards non-Muslims.

there is no such thing as compulsion in the Islamic religion toward anybody.

Muslims are not ISLAM. If you can make that distinction in your head,a lot of the confusion will clear.
