I think my prayer has been answered?

I thought I would share this with you.

I’ve been going through depression lately and was praying for help for several days. I started to think God wasn’t listening. Today I was watching a video on Bible Basics for Catholics and in the middle of the presentation this prayer came up. I couldn’t believe it. Just what I needed. It gave me new hope. I never dreamed that prayers could be answered in this way.

O Christ Jesus
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

Yes. It’s very basic but presented very well. I often revisit subjects hoping to get things I might’ve forgotten.
 
Whenever we feel the Lord is not listening he always sends us clues to let us know he is there. He knew what you were going through. Always trust him.
