I think that protestants have taken the authority

Yes Indeed He has given gifts to whom he has chosen to recieve them.
It is through his holy spirit …we are brought to understanding.
It is through his Love …that we know this.

Did Jesus ramble on a personal powertrip like some of the roman catholic posts I see on this thread??? NO he did not!

Did he complicate ‘The good news’ to manipulate or confuse and ramble people searching for the truth??? No he did not.

Did he say Catholics are the right church? no he did not.

The bible is our instructions… it is spoken in metaphoric and symbolic terms…to address different people on different issues.

ahhhh now how many has misinterpreted his words- did they not call upon the Holy spirit which is God!! to give them understanding. If so…Your posts would not be a competition but a unification In Jesus Christ.

When the gift of tongues is given…it states in the bible that when 3 or more are gathered in my name…the gift of tongues is given…among those three…one will be given the gift of prophecy to interpret the message given by God.

The Gift of Prophecy- To know to foretell what is to come for the purpose of God.
The Gift of Visions- To see divinity…in all its glory…for Gods purpose.

People must get right within theirselves and ask the holy spirit to lead and guide them
to understanding…if they lack such.

Anyone chosen to recieve the gifts or gift of the holyspirit…is for God’s Purpose -to accept and recieve for the purpose of mankind. For the saving of mankind.

The vision of Mary to the children came with an important message…the last time this occured …it was said …It was only her hand holding back the hand of God of destroying the world. They sent the message…Who has listened??

God is Love, God is Mercy , But God is God!!!

A true person of God…does not exclaim his righteousness- it is shown!

Listen To God-Open your hearts to the holy spirit!

TGL, this is getting close to “contempt for Catholicism”, a bannable offense.

As it is good for you to be hear and learn from knowledgeable Catholics, and thus I would hate to see you banned for making ignorant and contemptuous comments about Catholicism.

Indeed, he did. When he founded a Church, he founded One Church, not the obscenity that has evolved, of tens of thousands of Christian denominations, which are the fruit of separating oneself from the faith of the Apostles.

And one could only know what the Bible is through the discernment of the Catholic Church. 👍

An argument broke out among the disciples as to which one of them was the greatest.
Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he took a child,stood him by his side, and said to
them. ‘whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me’ and whoever welcomes me
welcomes the one who sent me’ “For he who is the least among you all is the Greatest!”

Whoever is not against you is for you.

John spoke up, “Master , we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he does not belong to our group” Do not try to stop him," Jesus said to him and the other desciples. “Because whoever is not against you is for you”

If you do not pray for understanding…you will end up with all your own confusing interpretations (to the person above me) you may say thats not what it meant we are higher than other christians’ or you may say see it says our group…must mean catholic’

either way dear it comes up the same…God said…He who believes in me shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Are you God? When Jesus told peter I build my church upon his rock…did he say that rock will shine with jewells…the priests bishops ect will wear outfits to show they are greater than the people? Did he say dicatate the word of God, but only that which will ensure the followers continue to come to the catholic church???

No He did not. Jesus was a poor man on earth…Him and his followers walked miles and miles to spread God’s words…He sat on a rock outside many times…and the crowds grew greater and greater. because of his love, his mercy, his kindness. He was only mocked by the rich…the sinners…those that mocked his appearance…by saying …you a king???

Jesus did not say …get a university education or else you cannot lead my people.
But many priests have just such…
True knowledge and wisdom does not come from a university education it comes from God through the most holy spirit.

I know some priests in past that agree with me…actually they told me how they felt…they also feared addressing this to bishops ect. for fear they may loose thier position.

Who the hek are you to judge anyone-God is the only judge of the peoples.

I admired pope john paul…he drew in the Crowds by the love of christ within his heart and spirit. He also took the lowliest room in the vatican…stating what more did he need a small bed and night table.

I had a priest (evil) say to me about the Spirit of God…when I said why in church do you preach the father the son and the holy spirit…but you never empansize on the holy spirit.
His response…if you want to dance up and down the aisles I know of a charismatic church you can go to!!! He mocked the holy spirit…

Do you not mock God…with your self righteous attitude??? threatening another because somewhere somehow my post has threatened or made you fear something???

God will be your judge as well.

Again I say…Pray for understanding of God’s words…through the holy spirit you will gain understanding!!! For those who choose to understand…and receive the right interpretation of his words.

AS I said above- Jesus said…For he who is least among you is the Greatest!

Get off your high horse…Your need for power and control has no place in the presence of
God !!

One cannot take from God what God does not given them. God gave authority to the Holy Catholic Church and declared it to be the pillar and grounds of His truth (1 Timothy 3:15). Note that the Bible is clearly stating that the Catholic Church, not Scripture, is the final authority. Protestants cannot “take” that authority because has not given it to them. Protestants, ie. men, claiming God’s authority does not mean God has given them His authority.

Wrong!!! Rinni- It seems you are bitterly confused about who Jesus is. If you possess issues within yourself…that make you feel threatened by those who address you on that- that is your problem! Your words hold no holy spirit within them, nor do you, by your threatening emails privately sent to me.

The catholic church is not the right one! everybody will be judged accordingly and individually according to his deeds done or not done upon this earth.

Everyone is welcome to his Divine Mercy…but anyone that threatens another in name of God shall recieve his punishment in full.

The need for power and control in any christian religion…has no place in the house of the Lord.

You cannot come to our home, TGL, and say disparaging things about our Mother, the Church.

There is only ONE body of Christ, One Church–and it is the Catholic Church.
