What do I do now? I can’t join RCIA until I’m older…
Ah, I see. How old are you, though?I can’t do anything with the Catholic Church due to family.
OK, I understand that, believe me. But unless your family all lives in one room with a bright light on 24-hours a day, you can still read and pray (especially the rosary). And assuming that they don’t have you chained to your bed with a big rusty chain, you can still go out to the library to read books or to Mass or an adoration chapel.I can’t do anything with the Catholic Church due to family.
Haha, yeah. I can do certain things, but I can’t go to mass or anything. The nearest parish is a bout 10-15 minutes away. I do have two Catholic Bibles and a Catechism. My parents just don’t want me making any religious moves until I’m “old enough”.OK, I understand that, believe me. Fair enough. I was in that position once myself and at a much younger age than you.Haha, yeah. I can do certain things, but I can’t go to mass or anything. RCIA is the way you would need to go to become catholic. You may learn some things you did not learn from here or the catechism. It’s worth your time. Even confirmed catholics attend RCIA classes at our church just to learn something they may have forgotten or even did not know. You may be the stellar student in RCIA who can help the others out.The rosary is a beautiful prayer.
I’ve already read the Catechism and know what Catholics believe. I believe them too. Must I still go through RCIA? Is there any other way?
