Yes it is pentacostal and I believe charismatic which actually might be two in the same.:o

I go to a non-denom and we dont believe in the healing power either. Heck my minister doesnt believe in miracles as they were performed in biblical times anyway.
Miracles has not ended. It still exist to today but not at the level it was in the beginning of the Church.

I still believe in miracles. I just don’t believe the Non-denomination speaking of tongues is the same as in Acts. I think they are mislead to be frank.

If the gift of the tongues were to happen today I can tell you that everyone will be able to speak all languages without the learning the language just as it was in the Book of Acts.

There we must disagree for the very first time!!🙂

I myself have some degree of healing gift; most unexpected and unsought. So I know that this is real. There have been small miracles.

And there are recorded, tested healings at Medjugorge.

These are gifts of the Holy Spirit, simply; and given freely and fully still.

Hard to go into details on open forum.
PM if you wish; may be tomorrow now…

And I know you are not being critical; I used to be totally sceptical too… Jesus has a sense of humour!!!🙂
How so? Not being critical, just curious.

Medjugorje is **not an approved apparition **of the Catholic Church. There are messages in that apparition contrary to the teaching of the Church. For one the visionaries remain disobedient to the local bishop.

Compare that with the Fatima where there was obedience. Second since Medjugorje is **not an approved **apparition, it cannot be discuss in this forum.

Lourdes?

A minor grammatical correction:
“Church” should not be capitalized unless it’s the real Church, the Church established by Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, in other words, the One Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church:thumbsup:

I wrote it as a sign of reference and respect even though this Protestant church does not contain the fullness of truth.

Anyone else see the irony in non-denoms having their own church? 😉

I went to their Q & A today and I asked if I want to come for their Bible Study. I said I’ll think about it. I have other obligations, my prayer obligation to God and his family the saints in heaven through my prayers.

I will keep them in my prayers but I won’t be going to their service again.

Thank you but no; healing is healing is healing. Period.

What the point was was that healng is still a major gift/phenomen.

Miracles happen and frequently…

In all traditions and in all places.

Padre Pio, Fr Peter Rookey, Sr Briege McKenna…
Lourdes is approved. Do you want to know which apparitions are approved and which one are not approved?
