you bet… most dioceses have a priest who is in charge of just that, talking to prospective priest wanna be’s … call your local chancery… you might just ask your on pastor, he can get you to where you want to be, plus he is probably the best sounding board for the feelings your experienceing… good luck an may God bless you in your search… 👍

God Bless You! Maybe you could contact the priest at Catholic Answers and talk to him a little bit.

Mother Mary, pray for our Holy Father, all Bishops, Priests, Deacons, religious, seminiarians, and all those being called to serve as Your Ordained and Religious.

There are diocesan priests (Cleveland Diocese, Cincinnatti Diocese, your area, etc.) and order Priests (Benedictine, Franciscan, etc.) and mission Priests that are local and overseas. Talk to a Priest that you relate to and feel comfortable with. If you don’t know someone like that, either go to Mass and different places and find one or call up the Diocese Vocations office or local parishes just to talk to someone. There are different requirements of each, and usually Order Priests have specific rules or charisms they follow.

If you have the a call to become a Priest, or even an idea that you might, don’t ignore it, and continue to pursue it – and PRAY!!! Right now, at this moment, there are literally millions of people praying for you as I will do so daily.

Any ideas on what I should do?:
One other thing, CatholicGuy – the Christian life is about Prayer, Study, Community & Service, whether you become a Priest or you marry or remain single. So . . .

Please at least read about Holy Orders in the Catechism, Nos. 1536-1600. Look through the Index, also – you’ll find things of interest in answering your questions. Praying for you. . .

Sometimes they have “Come and See” weekends at seminaries. Might want to check it out you’d get the chance to talk to some priests and seminarians.
