I am the one who told you that this girl may be scamming you. just as your confessor mentioned. Please STOP these negative reminders about your GUILT. Instead, you must start your new thinking and actions today, and EVERY tomorrow to come. Make amends to God by doing charitable acts, as I suggested earlier. Be pro-life. Help those homes that shelter young females that have decided to give birth. Vote and back those who run for political office that are pro-life. Words and thoughts come cheap. ACTIONS, are what matter. Start being positive and forget about yesterdays mistakes. LEARN FROM THEM and move on. God Bless You…

I have a question about my confession. When I went, I told the priest I had not been to confession in years. I mentioned the abortion, the premarital sex, the barely ever going to mass. He said, “I absolve you of all your sins.” He perscribed the pennance, and I did my pennance. Since then, I have gone to mass every week, (either on Sunday or Saturday Evening). I am sure I have not committed any mortal sins. Can a priest really absolve me of all sins, without me stating them? Obviously, I can’t remember everything I have done wrong over the years.

Yes, God isn’t going to hold forgotten sins against you. If you didn’t hide any of your mortal sins, all your sins are forgiven. God is merciful 🙂

First go to confession.

Secondly, it sounds like you don’t know this person very well. How do you know she isn’t running a scam on match.com? Milking men for money for abortions for babies that never existed? Call me jaded but I have seen to many people fall prey to people they meet on the Internet.

You are in my prayers and the unnamed woman as well.
