I often feel I am not getting through to those I talk to about abortion. Does anyone else feel the same? It seems people just don’t care. The other day at work there was a newspaper in the breakroom and the headline irritated me; and a person I often discuss issues with was there and I made a comment about my feelings on a presidental canidate’s stance on abortion. We had talked about abortion before and over time I have gotten him to see that it’s wrong, but he said that’s just an issue. I told him if we don’t have life what other issue matters. I know he is going to vote on other issue.
It seems as though even when people know abortion is wrong they are not willing to do anything about it.
What’s wrong with the world?
the other day I read GK Chesterson answered: I am.
this has got me thinking. What do I do to end abortion. I pray; when the conversation with others come anywhere near the santity of life, I comment that I am prolife and I give them one of the reason I am; I’ve been to Prolife March in Washington [only once sad to say- I desperately want to go again], and ever year I attend the night of prayer to end abortion.
But is this enough.?.
I just can not believe we allow abortion. Why doesn’t america wake up. When will she wake up. We live in a great land, how can this be legal. How is it that so many think this is a good thing. And how can those who know it’s wrong continue to support those who vote for it. Why don’t people care enough?
Anyways, I was fustrated as I have been many times in the past. And when I was checking my email, I received one of those “chain email” *. So I made one on Vote prolife. Do I send it?
I plan on responding to this thread with the e-mail. Tell me what you think, and will you send it, or make your own and send it.
I know that the images are controversal. And this causes me to hesitate.
