I watch and read the news on syria and Iraq and other places in the middle east
about christian who are being persecuted because they will not change there faith
i have very little money ( am disabled and my husband is my carer so we dont work )
i want to do something to show support for those who are persecuted
i know i cant give money but i want to do something
 
Pray for them! I get newsletters from a very good charity called Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), it’s a Catholic charity. Their website is at aidtochurch.org and we had a talk from one of their local organisers after Mass a few months ago (I’m in England).

You can read their newsletters on their website. They ask for support in many ways, one of which is prayer.

There are many charities supporting persecuted Christians around the world, all needing your prayers.

i will pray for them
its just hurts my heart that people are being killed because of there faith
i know that many Christians are in danger of not only killed but also raped and abused by is
its nothing more than genocide something i thought the world was over with a long time ago
but there are people who seem to want to start wars if its not Christians, its other Muslims or those who are weaker than they are
i thought we learned lessons from the holocaust but its looks like we didnt

I agree with you, it’s shocking and it’s not being reported in the news as much as it should be, IMO.

As you say, the lessons of history are so easily forgotten. 😦
 
yes it not been reported witch i find surprising it only though being on another Christian forum that i have found out about it or social media is talking about
there was very little news about it on the bbc just that is is killing hostages some who where Christians

i dont understand why anyone would want to kill Innocents just for power
they must be truly evil and i pray that they are stopped from doing this
some way

i dont believe in wars but i think something must be done
