If you feel an attraction to Cistercian spirituality, this might be perfect:

https://conversi.org

“The Associates of the Iowa Cistercians have developed the Conversi Program for persons who are unable to attend regular AIC meetings because of distance constraints, family responsibilities, work schedules or other reasons, but are looking for information, resources and support to assist them in applying Cistercian values and practices to their lives outside the monastery.”

Blessings!

The becoming a Diocesan Hermit has crossed my mind many times. But I have debts that I have to get cleared up… plus I rent in room in a house that I live in with a family from church. I think that to become a Diocesan Hermit I would have to be debt free and live alone. I don’t even know if it will take a year or more to be able to find low income housing for myself so I can live on my own and lead the life of a hermit.

I don’t know much about secular Institutes but you have peaked my interests. Thanks for your post. God bless. 🙂

Thanks for your post. I had seen this website before but never this particular link page. I will read through it. Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. God bless. 🙂

See… I knew it was a great grace to post this thread. I didn’t know this Cistercian program existed. Will read through its pages and see where it leads me. Thanks and God bless. 🙂

Thank you for the link. Will look through it and see if any interest me. God bless. 😊

On can establish a spiritual membership of the Third Order of the Most Holy Trinity, or the Confraternity of Our Lady of Sorrows, or be a member of the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception of The Blessed Virgin Mary, or even all three.
