Also, the Christ’s sacrifice is not just an instance in time, but something perpetual. Of course, it is made present every Mass, but Baptists won’t understand that.

We see this is true, however, in Apocalypse (Revelation):

*"*And all that dwell upon the earth adored him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb, which was slain from the beginning of the world. " (Apo. 13:8).
 
Hey Dasher! I’m have the same frustrations but from a different perspective. My husband and I are the only remaining Catholics (except my mother) on both sides. We’re the stragglers & were once constantly being wooed. Now, it’s slowed considerably.

Here’s something I’ve tried with my fundamentalist family. I tell them I’ll read a book they recommend on Christianity if they read a book I recommend on Catholicism. I use their terminology & say, “let’s both pray to the Holy Spirit to open our hearts to God’s will”. Then I leave it at that. I’ve done my job; the rest is up to God.
