True Light, I, too was confirmed on Sunday, Mar 25th, and I received first Eucharist. It meant so much to me, and I feel so blessed. It has been a wonderful experience and I am so excited! I’m so happy for you too.At my parish, we had 49 adults and children receiving the Sacrament on Sunday. There will be 25 more on Saturday, April 7th, for baptism, confirmation, and first communion.

You know TrueLight…I was worried about that when I came back to the church…and yes…there have been dry periods but nothing that has made me forget what a blessing our faith is:thumbsup:

Yeah. Because there are these milestones one reaches/achieves. Baptism, for those who haven’t been baptized, the Eucharist and Confirmation (in varying sequences). So naturally, one feels a sense of “now what?”

It has been a wonderful Journey.

I discovered this site at the beginning of March of last year. One can say that is when I discovered Catholicism. I had so many misconceptions and was totally clueless. As an example of my cluelessness, look at this March 19, 2011 post:

Patiently, the Lord drew me and guided me and put people in my path on this forum and elsewhere who helped me to deal with my struggles and who answered my questions.

From the beginning, I knew that I would convert from Catholicism and would become Catholic.

It wasn’t easy. There were many obstacles, especially Marian dogma, but finally on September 17, 2011, I was received into the Church and I was finally able to receive our Lord in the Eucharist. What a day that was.

I was confirmed a couple of days ago.

I thank all of you.

I know the journey is just beginning.

Please pray for me so that I can finish the race.

Not necessarily that…I think it’s Gods call to spiritual maturity. What will you do when it no longer feels good…will you stay faithful…that is where the greatest glory to God shows up…when we remain faithful even when it doesnt feel like anything new is happening…
