I’m in need of a translation of the Divine Liturgy from Ukrainian ( not slavonic ) to English. This way I can just learn the DL in Ukrainian with the English and become accustomed to singing the Liturgy in Ukrainian ( without being wholly fluent in the language itself )…kind of like priests today who just learn the Mass in Latin.

Is there anyone here who can help me with that?

I’ve tried ordering anthology for worship from the states but they dont allow orders online?

Even if you could point me to somewhere online where just the Liturgy is in Ukrainian transliteration along with the English Translation either beside or beneath that would be great.

The Anthology is available online. Have you tried the Metropolitan Sheptytsky Institute in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada?

There is also a song book we use which has all songs in Ukrainian and English including an anglicized Ukrainian words (english/latin letters spelling out the Ukrainian words)

Question actually about the anthology. Is it transliterated also like the song book?

Fr.Serge gave me one but he warned me that it is in Slavonic transliteration. But it would be a joy to get the anthology for worship and more of a bonus joy to have it transliterated.

No, unfortunately it is not transliterated. The Ukrainian part of the book is purely text in Ukrainian, no musical sets. The Anthology is really meant for English use of Ukrainian parishes in North America.

Oh, I thought they would ship anywhere. I’ll check to see if our parish still sells copies. I can get you one. You’d have to pay me via paypal (details to be discussed in private). I’ll let you know Monday as our priest is away on a retreat this week and I won’t get to ask him until Sunday.
