I will never marry. I can't deal with my life in general anymore

Same to you. I don’t hate single dads, but religion (and my money) is far too important to me to break my faith.

That I won’t get over. I do not approve of divorce when there are kids in most cases, and the idea of not being allowed to marry in church because of their divorce horrifies me. Not to mention all of the drama and financial (nope, not sharing my money with his kids or his baby mama). Not giving up going to church for a man who broke his vows (or his wife did).
This post is confusing. Just because someone is divorced doesn’t mean they can’t marry in church. They could have an annulment or the previous marriage may not have been indissoluble (although I don’t really know how this works these days with all the different forms of marriage from various religions/denominations).

They can’t marry unless they have an annulment or were married civilly I believe. If they are just divorced with no annulment (assuming they married in church)I wouldn’t touch them because I would never marry in a courthouse or another religion. However, even if a guy could marry in church if he is a dad and their mom is still living there is no way I would date him.

I understand, just look at the poster’s religion - “Ex-Baptist, in RCIA”. I don’t want him to get the wrong idea that the Church teaches that all marriages are indissoluble no matter where or by whom they were done.
