Tomorrow, first Friday of the month there is Eucharistic adoration and intercessory prayer session at St Michael`s Church, Sharjah, UAE. If you have any prayer intention I will submit and pray along with hundreds of people gathering tomorrow. Would be better if you mention the name. Please give before 11:00 am (GST).

No idea if it’s too late. I’ll give initials BH, who has ALS for repentance and a happy death. That A and IK will convalidate their marriage and that I get a job. Also the gift of faith for AH. A poster said that they only expect to live a few more weeks. Could you pray for them too please?

Thank you.

Could you please just say ‘Trishie and her family’
And ‘all CAF members and visitors’?
Thank you for your generous offer of prayer.
May God grant the prayers of your own heart.

In case matjam didn’t get these in time, or even if he did, I will pray for them all later today when I go to First Friday Adoration.

I would add my own intentions for the week:
  • help with home repairs and issues
  • repose of the soul of my friend SF, also my father and mother, and other family, all those on my prayer lists, and all Holy Souls and Forgotten Souls
  • for my friend CT who is elderly and ill and that I get to see her soon
  • for the parish church intentions, world peace intentions and other intentions for which I usually pray including for our Holy Father
  • for Fr. Peter and Bishop Bartchak, and all priests who have provided me with sacraments
  • For all other intentions of members of CAF and my Facebook groups.
    Amen.

Hi all, Unfortunately I was unable to get to Adoration last night as I planned. I was like the Apostles and fell asleep instead 😦 fortunately I went to First Friday morning Mass and did an Adoration Holy Hour on Thursday night so First Friday was covered, still annoyed at myself for dozing off.

However, today I did pray for everyone’s intentions at the National Centre for St. Padre Pio, during Mass, rosary, Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart, Benediction, and the very short Adoration we were able to have there as the Blessed Sacrament is not there all the time, long story. I also lit a big prayer candle for all the intentions, here it is:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

I’ll try to make up the Adoration hour I missed tomorrow and pray for all the intentions again and write them in the book at church.

Holy Mary, St. Joseph and St. Padre Pio, pray for us!

You made it to Barto, already? Awesome. In one of the rooms, the one which shows movies, the ceiling is covered with green leafs. The names of my mother and father are on one of those leafs.

I work about 30 miles from Barto. I asked one of the men in charge of taking donations today why they do not publicize themselves more to the surrounding parishes. There are at least a half dozen large-to-huge parishes between me and Barto, I have been to Mass at all of them and literally never heard of this place, never saw a card for it in the vestibules, never saw a bus trip for seniors going there in the bulletin, etc. Between what the man told me and what I read briefly on my Android while sitting in the line for confession, it appears that the past two bishops of Allentown diocese got into some dispute with the place over its donation monies or governance and they weren’t allowed to hold Mass there for years and seem to have only resumed in the last couple years since Bishop Schlert took over. He was apparently more willing to work with them. They said they are now working to jump through whatever hoops the diocese needs them to do to get certified or whatever, and then they can publicize themselves more.

I was not aware of any of that. It’s about a two hour drive from here. I actually live in the Scranton archdiocese. Next trip I will plan to coincide with a special event. I was there almost 1 year ago to bring my mother there on her 92nd birthday. I hope you enjoyed your visit. I want the little Fiat.

The priest they had in for First Saturday Mass was all the way from Philadelphia, from the Miraculous Medal Shrine, which is a wonderful old church in a decayed part of Germantown that is now run as a big Marian shrine by Vincentians. I was wondering if they got him because of the connection with Mary for First Saturday, or if they have that much trouble finding a priest in Allentown diocese to help them out.

Bear, pray for me if you wouldn’t mind. (Nothing wrong, just wanted to hitch myself to your wagon, spiritually speaking…)
