St. Lazarus from Bethany, the brother of Mary and Martha, the Lazarus that Jesus raised from the dead. I wish he would have written a book in the Bible. I would love to read his account of dying and spending time in Abraham’s bosom or whatever you want to call that place that Old Testament believers/saints went to. I would love to know what it was like and who he talked to. Were there trees and grass? Food? Did he have a body or was everyone there only spirit? Did he get to talk to St. Joseph? Were there angels? Did he know what was going on in the lives of Mary and Martha while he was there? What was it like to leave and then go back into his body? I just feel like it could have been so informative and interesting. Any ideas as to why he didn’t write down his experiences, or if he did why they weren’t included in the Bible? Is there a saint that you wish had written a book of the Bible?
