…the demon possession storyline that played out on Days of our Lives in the mid-nineties.
 
I think in recent years he was more concerned about the forces of secular humanism taking possession of parts of Georgetown University, while maintaining the outward appearance of Catholicism for prospective parents, alumni and fundraising.

I believe he tried to utilize the Code of Canon Law (?) to get the Archdiocese to formally eject the “Catholic” label off his alma mater, which was favorably mentioned in Blatty’s famous book. I don’t know the outcome of that process.
