Pope St. Palestine, you were a contemporary and friend of St. Augustine and St. Ambrose. You defended the Faith against many heresies, including Pelagism. When the Goths sacked Rome, you were instrumental in rebuilding the churches.
In light of the conflicting and dark times in which you lived in, we ask for your prayers and intercession, confident that you understand and sympathize with those who also live in a chaotic and stressful times. I ask you to especially lift up to God these intentions presented to you today. Pray that we may show perseverance, courage and resilience to the relativism, agnosticism, and misguided compassion that overruns our society today. Pray that we may be a living witness to the power of Christ working in the Church now. And finally, pray that we may be able to thank you for your prayers and intercession face to face in heaven.
