I would like for someone here to explain to me how, “Bible alone” and “personal interpretation” of the Bible… is a good thing.

Now I have some questios for you;
Why not have a Pope?
Why don’t you need Holy Traditions, and did you know that the Bible came to us from the Catholic Church…First the Church and then the Bible, in that order?
Who do you believe should interpret Holy Scripture?
First let me say that Peter was not the first pope,in fact he was’nt a pope at all.

1 As a Christain, which means Christ man I belong to a body the body of Christ with Christ as the head, not the pope.

2 The majority of catholic traditions have no biblical basis.

3 Any Holy Spirit led person can interpret scripture

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

“Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.” (Isa.34:16)

And again in John 5:39, where Jesus says, “Search the scriptures”.

Since it was God who commanded us to search, read and study to rightly divide the word of truth, then by His authority I must obey. For the same God who commanded us to read and study also said:

“Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.” (Proverbs 1:23)

So God, who commands us to search His scriptures, to read and study them thoroughly, says that if we turn at His reproof, He will pour out His Spirit unto us and make known to us His words. Logically speaking, we should be able to interpret what we read by His Holy Spirit. Now of course, this takes faith. The kind of Saving Faith imparted to us once we are genuinely Born Again. Listen:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Heb.11:6)

When I stand before God,I can’t blame anyone

Where did you get this information?..source please…

How in the world do many Protestants (in general) believe that they are following Christ’s instructions, base on Sola scriptura (Bible alone) and how can they believe that they are “Saved” by Sola fida (by Faith Alone), when they don’t have Holy Tradition and the Church to help guide them and help them to understand such things? How can anyone possibly understand Christianity today if they reject the Christianity of yesterday?

The only way to know what’s going on, is to have -
  1. Holy Scripture (the Bible)
  2. The Church (the Magisterium and the Pope)
  3. And Holy Tradition.
All three are important for a true understanding of Christianity.

Additionally, by having bad or flawed beliefs, like “personal interpretation”, which really messes things up and leads to all sorts of crazy beliefs, where every other non-Catholic Christian and Protestant has a different set of opinions, nobody knows what is meant by - Follow Christ.

More over, beliefs like, “Once Saved Always Saved” (OSAS), which equal a belief in ‘Predestination”, or a belief in Saved by Faith Alone and not by Faith, Grace and Works, is harmful, because they are both anti-Biblical and therefore, anti-Christian…

I do not understand why anyone would, by their own choosing, be Christian and not Catholic.

The only two explanations that I can come up with, is that they either “don’t know any better”; or, because of their own behavior, they have created a situation for themselves which would make it difficult to become a practicing Catholic.

I would like for someone here to explain to me how, “Bible alone” and “personal interpretation” of the Bible… is a good thing, when we all know that it has lead to much division and confusion.
Back when I was a Protestant, I used to attend a church of Christ and they believed in Sola Scriptura but believed that you could lose your salvation and salvation wasn’t by faith alone. I know with all of the Protestant denominations out there, its hard to keep track of even what they believe is necessary for salvation but the CoC has many doctrines that are in line with the RCC.

Why do I need the Pope?
Because without a final authority chaos ensues-as is evidenced by the multidue of beliefs among our sperated Btetheren.
Why do I need Holy Tradition, and who decides what Holy tradition is exactly?
The Church. You need tradtion because Scipture by itself is not sufficient.
Can you give examples of Holy traditions
The Trinity. The Canon of the Bible.

You belong to a group of people with widely diverse and often contradictory beliefs. The only thing that unifies you is a belief in Christ although even there you cant agree on the nature of Christ or his teachings. Catholics do not belong to the Pope. They are members of the One True Church, the Church founded by Jesus Christ.
2 The majority of catholic traditions have no biblical basis.
For instance?
3 Any Holy Spirit led person can interpret scripture
Does the Spirit lead people to different versions of the truth? For example you and differ on how to interpret John :6. How do we resolve that?

This appears to be an accurate description, of non-Catholic Christianity today…

I would like for a non-Catholic Christian here, to explain…or respond to this comment (above quote).

Thank you for your post.
