I would like for us to have a Holy water font in our Eucharistic Adoration chapel

…so how do I go about getting one placed in there? Should I ask the Pastor? or should I talk to someone on one of the Church councils? Can I buy one to put in there? Or should I not do anything? I would like to get some of the parishioners together to put in money to pay for a nice one to go on the wall so the Church doesn’t have to pay for it, but I don’t know if I’m allowed to do that. I’m a new Catholic and I don’t fully understand the way the hierarchy of the Church goes in respect to things of this nature…Any help would be appreciated!!!🙂
 
That is a nice thing you want to do for your parish. I don’t think you can do that without a permission. I am sure you can ask the pastor and if he wants you to talk to his assistant, he would let you know or he can work with you directly.

Our Confessional had no crucifix, and I asked Father if I could donate one. He affirmed on the provision he saw it and ok’d it. All went well and it was installed in the Confessional. Ask Father, I am sure he would agree.
