Does anyone know where I can buy prints of icon (preferably larger than 8x10).

OR, are there public domain images of icons that I could possibly send to a printer to get printed?

Thank you!

St Tikhon’s Bookstore.

A lot of their icons are of later Orthodox saints but there are some pre-schism saints and some awesome icons of Christ and the Theotokos. I just received a pretty large order from them on Thursday. The prices are great and the quality is wonderful.

Yours in Christ
Joe

I’ve found Wikipedia to be a decent source of old images. You can search for a topic on Wikipedia and there will often be pictures and a link at the bottom to more. You can also go directly to Wikimedia Commons and search for whatever there too.

In Canada, there is the Ukrainian Book Store for mail orders if you don’t have a general Ukrainian cultural store in a city near you:

By the way, some of the most beautiful painted wooden icons I have ever seen in my life are by a Ukrainian artist called Pavlo Lopata in Toronto. He does not have a webpage but sets up his work often at local Ukrainian Festivals. They are incredibly beautiful.

I always liked this Icon from St. Cyril’s Church in Ukraine. It’s 19th Century I believe with a modern twist to Eastern iconography by Vrubel I believe. A moving countenance on the Mother of God.

A good source for mounted prints, which supports the Monastery and several families, can be found at St. Isaac of Syria Skete:
