What’s the box next to Francis? it looks like a Tabernacle, but i dont think it is due to its location…

It’s a book stand for the Roman Missal. You can see the edge of the Missal on the right side of the photo (left side of the pope).

If you mean the thing on the right in glasses, it is Guido Marini, recently reappointed to a further four-year term as the pope’s Master of Ceremonies.

Although Msgr. Marini’s cotta is rather boxy, I was not referring to him
