In English, libido means:

1.Psychoanalysis. all of the instinctual energies and desires that are derived from the id. 2.sexual instinct or sexual drive.

A desire is not a sin. Acting on that desire, either mentally or physically, is what constitutes sin. To avoid sin, one does not act on those desires or drives in an immoral manner.

You cannot keep the birds from flying overhead, you can keep them from making a nest in your hat.

Do you perhaps mean LIBATION? As in alcoholic drinks? In that case, you’re right- alcohol in moderation does not constitute sin.

It’s not the physical orgasm (that supposedly benefits health) which is the sin, but rather a selfish desire to acquire pleasure for oneself.

In itself the orgasm is simply a biological function. Although our flesh is corrupted such that it lusts after what we know to be wrong.

If a person in the sincerity of their heart sought sexuality for health, and not for personal pleasure, then I would think that it would not itself be a sin… but I would highly suspect that such a doctrine would be very easily corrupted by however many multitudes of people would go after it for pleasure and claim they were just seeking health benefits.

I wonder if it’s possible if we could somehow make it such that the person had the orgasm, beneficial to health, but did not experience any pleasure from it?..
