If at first you don't succeed...(Adam and Eve)

You miss my point entirely. God would foresee Adam and Eve falling and before he creates them he keeps creating two until he foresees two who do not fall USING THEIR FREE WILL.

Scrap the design of Adam and Eve BEFORE they are created since He knew they would fall, and try two others until he makes two that of their own free will don’t fall. What’s so hard to understand about this? It like flipping a coin and desiring heads. Keep flipping until you get heads.
The most reasonable explanation is that it came up heads.

Next question: How are we to understand that it was in accord with God’s perfect will?

This questions contains multiple misunderstandings.
  1. It’s not completely established in Catholic theology what would have happened if Adam and Eve hadn’t sinned. First off, even if our first parents didn’t sin, their progeny would still retain free will.
  2. God does not “think” like we think. He does not observe, then act. Creation happens in time, but only because God has ETERNALLY willed His creation to exist in time. From all eternity, in a perfect “now,” God perfectly knows his will and what all created free creatures will do. Everything is linked. It’s not as if God first decides to Big Bang out the Universe, and then billions of years later, he decides to form Earth and then decides to make animals and humans. No, God does not progress in thought as we do.
  3. Go one step back: Your dilemma could be said about the Devil and the fallen angels. Why create them? The Devil is the one who led our first parents astray. Or, go one step forward: Why does God allow people to exist who will end up in hell?
  4. The answer to 3 is, again, bound up with God’s eternal perfect will. From seeing Adam fall from all eternity, God does not so will his sin, but he does so will some Good out of it: And indeed, many Catholic theologians consider the Incarnation to have happened only BECAUSE humanity fell. “Oh happy fault” as the early church fathers said.
  5. The Catechism – the official teaching of the Church – clearly teaches that this world was created in a state of “journeying.” Even if Adam had not sinned and humanity didn’t fall, this creation would still be prone to physical evils. In other words, the fall of man didn’t create earthquakes or biological illnesses. But we know that one day, such suffering-causing elements will no longer exist in the New Heaven and Earth. Again, God planned to have the world in a state of journeying to its ultimate perfection.

While that’s a neat theory, OP, you’re forgetting that God loved Adam and Eve.
Do you just scrap relationships that aren’t perfect and find replacements?

How can God know, as the actual future, something that never happens?

If God made Adam and Eve any different their nature wouldn’t be human. I meant to post this to the OP.

That would be a deception about the truth of human nature.

No but she prooves that a creature with free will can remain sinless. Why didn’t God make her the first human being?

IMO. There would not be a wounded human nature inherited by the entire human race. Even if their progeny sinned and lost immortality it would be a personal sin. There would be only personal sin. But what a sin it would be!

I don’t know how many times I have to say it: With foreknowledge don’t create Adam and Eve IN THE FIRST PLACE. You can’t love something not in existence.

Surely He can foresee what WOULD happen. Do you think He doesn’t have this ability?

What does that mean? Human nature is what God designed it to be. We are created. God gave us our “human nature”.

…so, you’re upset that God didn’t create obedient robots?

Is this question actually about Hell?
Sometimes people get upset that some people turn away from God and wish God hadn’t created anything at all…

What does that mean? Human nature is what God designed it to be. We are created. God gave us our “human nature”.
Human nature was whole and entire in Adam. Adam is the archetype of Man. If God already created human nature how can another be created? Another human nature? That is what is meant. Already designed.

I do think of the word " flipped " when I read your Einstein diatribe reasoning 😀

What I meant by deception is, suppose God did conceive sets of Adam and Eve’s until that pair that wouldn’t sin was conceived and so He created them to be human nature. (God’s trial and error period):🤨 So they live and don’t eat the apple , have kids and the Adam’s family come to believe they are all that. It ain’t in our nature to sin.God knew what He was doing when He made us!😏😐
