I know I’m facing a solid Priest when he leads his flock in the St. Michael prayer after Mass. I’ve find that good OF priests still know what they are doing.
If Catholics are really born for combat like Pope Leo XIII said then why don't more Catholics engage in combat against the fallen angels and the evil

I would like to bring to your attention, Saint Faustina. In her diary, she presents her growth in her trust in Jesus. This was a battle. It always is. She is a very fine example of a “good soldier of Christ Jesus”.

Don’t worry about a text. Prayers are not magical incantations. Others in this thread gave made the point and I will only add that scrupulousity over Prayer texts is a trick of the Ancient Enemy.
Read the Desert Fathers and look to your own sins is a great place to begin. One holy father said that if a Christian could just pray Lord have mercy with every fiber of his being, that would be enough to be saved.

Yes, and it is beautiful.
The OP seems agitated and unduly fixated on particular texts. Perhaps a turn inward sans books would be more helpful?

Indeed, they are not. Who said they were? Did not Jesus teach us, “ask and you will receive”? (Matthew 7:7). And St. Paul teaches us, “Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition” (Ephesians 6:18).
Assuredly, Jesus Himself prayed to his Father : “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” (Matthew 17:15). And Jesus Himself told us to pray to the Father to “deliver us from evil” (Mathew 6:13).
Jesus is our Good Shepherd. What shepherd would not drive away the wolves from sheep who cried to him for help? Similarity, we must cry to Jesus to protect us from Satan and all the evil spirits who are currently prowling about the world with unprecedented power seeking the ruin of the souls, as is evidenced by Pope Leo XIII’s vision of Satan’s 100 years, and also by 1 Peter 5:8 which states: “your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Indeed, that is a great suggestion for combating evil. But where on earth did you get the notion that prayer and self-reflection/amendment are mutually exclusive?

My post was answering the OP, who seems very agitated and has cast a glance at his brother and sisters.
My desert fathers comment was a gentle admonition to not worry about what others are doing.
From St. Anthony the Great: “When the same Father Anthony meditated on the depth of the judgment of God, he asked, “Lord, how is it that some die when they are young, while others drag on to extreme old age? And why are some poor and others rich? Why do wicked people prosper and why are the just in need? He heard a voice answering him, “Anthony, keep your attention on yourself; these things are according to the judgment of God, and it is not to your benefit to know anything about them.“
My incantations comment was a point to not get hung up on the visions or “promises” attached to a Prayer, which is an unfortunate happening in Latin piety. If the Prayer moves you and speaks to you, pray it.
We don’t see the innermost struggles of others. How can we comment on anything?

Indeed, I am very agitated. There is nothing wrong with becoming agitated by evil, as is evidenced by Jesus’ agitations throughout the Gospels. I have every right to be agitated by the stupidity and cowardice of the Church hierarchy. I am agitated that the Church hierarchy rescinded Pope Leo XIII’s 1886 order to pray to St. Michael after Masses in 1964, which was well before the end of Satan’s 100 years.
I am agitated the Church hierarchy pathetically and negligently ignored Our Lady of Fatima’s urgent plea to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart before it spread its errors through out the world as she had ominously forewarned.
And, like so many others, I am agitated that the Church hierarchy systematically covered up for thousands and thousands of child rapists for decades.
And do you know what else is agitating? That so many people claiming to be Jesus’ followers do not recognize the work of Satan when it is right under their noses. For example, you, and other posters here who exclude from consideration that the removal of Pope Leo XIII’s prayer from after Masses was influenced by Satan himself

I pray the Saint Michael prayer after every Rosary and I say the Jesus Prayer at times. At my church; we sometimes pray the Saint Michael prayer after a Daily Mass. I think spiritual warfare comes in many forms. Like it was said: Just being there, doing everyday things with love to battling demons in the home. I’ve done it all; including driving off evil spirit(s) from attacking my twins in the middle of the night. Spiritual combat doesn’t have to be a glamorous battle like in the movies.

I certainly have not made even the slightest suggestion that fighting evil with prayer and fighting evil with daily faithfulness to Christian precepts are mutually exclusive

I’m not implying that you did. I’m only saying that combat takes many forms and that we Catholics are in the trenches everyday.
