Hello, good mornig:

I am catholic from always, and for ever I will be.

I have 12 questions, please

1- If Eden-Paradise was a part of earth, ¿to where God DROVE OUT the man from de Eden?

(Genesis 3, 24) “So he drove out the man: and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim (…)”

2- Is correct the following?:
God created the Universe, In this Universe God created the Planet Earth, in the Planet Earth God created the Paradise.
¿The Paradise was not ALL the Earth but a PART of the Earth was Paradise? (because there were a ‘ Eden garden’ and a garden does not occupy all the Earth.

¿Or all the Earth was the Paradise, AND only the garden of Eden was only in a part of the Earth – Paradise?

**3-**Bible says (Genesis 1, 31) “God saw everything he had made: it was supremely good.” It means that, though the Garden Eden was only a part of the Earth… ALL the Planet Earth was the paradise, ¿yes? Because “everything what God created was supremely good” (not perfect –because only God is perfect-, but ‘supremely good’)

It is correct? ALL the Planet Earth was the paradise, ¿yes? Even the Garden Eden was only a part of the Planet Earth…
¿Yes?

**4- **"Did God DROVE OUT Adam and Eve from the part of the Planet Earth, called “Paradise” TO another part from the same Planet Earth, ¿yes?

¿Or when “God DROVE OUT Adam and Eve” it means that:
It means: - God DROVE OUT Adam and Eve from State of grace (¿means drove out of a state and drove out from place to place?)
It means: - God DROVE OUT Adam and Eve from Paradise-Eden TO another Part of the Planet Earth

**5-**When God DROVE OUT Adam and Eve, ¿all the Planet Earth TURNED Imperfect and “villain” BECAUSE OF The sin and NOT BECAUSE OF GOD ¿correct?

BECAUSE OF GOD Only the things TURNED goods
Is not possible that “because of perfect God appear this imperfect-villain world present.

**6-**Before, this Planet Earth was, as the Bible says: “supremely good” in the Creation, ¿correct?

7-¿Is correcto to call “imperfect-villain” to the present Planet Earth? ¿Or Which would be the correct word to define the Present Planet Earth-Present World?

**8-**Now, BECAUSE OF the sin of Adam and Eve (Not BECAUSE OF GOD) the Planet Earth is “imperfect-villain: (the laws of the nature, earthquakes, wild instincts of the animals, which exists poisons in the nature, that the animals eat up between them)

The Imperfection of the Planet Earth owes to the Sin of Adam and Eve: the sin of Adam and Eve infected to the planet Earth and the “good” planet Earth (including the part of the Paradise-Eden), TURNED into: “imperfect” planet Earth? Or the planet Earth was created imperfect?

**9- **Could not Adam and Eve continue in the Paradise though they sinned?

**10-**Were the characteristics of the Paradise to the measure of Adam and Eve while they were not sinning?

**11- **What you will answer If a person Atheistic was saying to you: "And how do you take the believers it of which an omnipotent being was making something so manifestly imperfect? Did God haved a “badly day” when he created the planet Earth?

**12-**What you might answer If an atheist says to you: “God is perfect and because of it, everything what He creates have to be almost ‘perfect’, for that God cannot created the imperfect Earth Planet”

“Because in the same way as something non-intelligent cannot arise from anything intelligent, Neither something imperfect can arise from perfect God”

Thanks a lot

**P.D.: **Sorry my misspelling I know a little bit english (nivel 2-1) and I use translator.

The expulsion from Paradise-Eden WAS spiritual and metaphysical, or The expulsion WAS of a physical place?

Welcome to CAF,

You are doing fine with your questions. 🙂

However, the word Paradise often has different meanings.

Sometimes, Paradise refers to heaven or sometimes it refers to a delightful garden or a “heavenly” vacation spot. And sometimes the Garden is thought of as a spiritual place not connected with earth…

I beleive that Eden was a special place on earth. Eden was not the whole earth.

Thanks grannymh, do you know anyone who can answer my questiones, please?

I use the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition to find answers to questions about Catholic teaching.

I am thinking about how to answer your questions. One way is to talk about Adam and his relationship with God. We can use the Bible.

I am traveling so I may not be able to answer you today.

May I gently point out that on first look, the second link omits the true purpose of not eating from the tree of The knowledge of God and Evil and it omits the relationship between Adam, the creature, and God, his Creator. In addition, the difference between good and evil is one of the reasons people can have a faulty idea of Adam’s human nature.

This statement is from the second link. It refers to the tree of The Knowledge of good and evil. “Exactly why God did not want Adam and Eve eating from this tree is not said. However, a careful study of the scripture lends some insights.”

May I offer that the Catholic Church has discerned why Adam should not eat of this tree. It has to do with the fact that the only way in which Adam could remain in God’s friendship was to live in free submission to his Creator. Catholicism reminds us --of what is most often forgotten-- is that the status of the Creator is apodictically different from the status of Adam.

All the Earth was clean and all was good. The Eden was the part in which Adam and Eve were supposed to bring order and beauty with their work. Is like the difference between the bush and your garden.
They were cast out of Eden so they could not eat from the Tree of Life.

Hello, good mornig:
Good morning, Happy Easter!

To a place on earth outside the Garden.

It depends on what you are signifying by the word, “Paradise.” In the whole Earth, there was no sin, so in that sense, the whole Earth was Paradise. But if you mean a comfortable habitation for humans, Genesis tells us that God “planted a Garden,” indicating that He intentionally set aside a place. Further, Genesis says, “to the East,” which is a more definite specification than the whole Earth.

¿Yes?
See my answer to 2.

The latter is how the story in Genesis reads. As to Adam and Eve being “driven out of the state of grace,” it was their sin that did that, not God. The moment they sinned, they were in the state of mortal sin. God forgave them their sin, but their penance was harsh indeed!

God says in Isaiah 45:7, “I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

This refers, not to the evil of sin, but to the evil of punishment for sin. This world has suffering in it because of humanity’s sin.
**6-**Before, this Planet Earth was, as the Bible says: “supremely good” in the Creation, ¿correct?
There was no sin before the first sin.
7-¿Is correcto to call “imperfect-villain” to the present Planet Earth? ¿Or Which would be the correct word to define the Present Planet Earth-Present World?
The present world is fallen, as humanity is fallen. The world is imperfect, as it awaits Perfection when the Lord returns in Glory.

The creature finds its perfection in the Creator, and Adam and Eve were given dominion over the Earth. Therefore when they were in the state of grace before their sin, nature in them was perfected; notwithstanding, they were yet in a probationary period. After their sin, nature lost all the perfection it had from grace. Adam and Eve were then in their natural state, imperfect.

So the answer to your question is that every creature, apart from God, is necessarily imperfect in itself, and finds its perfection in God. The beasts naturally have their perfection in God, but in a human being there is intellect, in the image of God, and God respects that image of Himself. Therefore, from a human being He requires consciously willed consent, before He will perfect that human being in Himself. Adam and Eve’s consent by default consisted entirely in obeying the sole commandment, not to eat of nor touch the forbidden tree.

Thus the earth was never, and could never be, perfect in and of itself, but only in God. Its natural state, without supernatural grace, seeing that there are creatures (humans) to whom supernatural grace is natural, is imperfect insofar as it lacks it. The perfection of the world in the now-expanding Reign of Peace will be brought about by God’s graces.
**9- **Could not Adam and Eve continue in the Paradise though they sinned?
Their continued innocence was a condition of the their continued residence in Eden. Once they had lost it, they had to go.
**10-**Were the characteristics of the Paradise to the measure of Adam and Eve while they were not sinning?
They were perfectly happy in Paradise before the temptation and fall.
**11- **What you will answer If a person Atheistic was saying to you: "And how do you take the believers it of which an omnipotent being was making something so manifestly imperfect? Did God haved a “badly day” when he created the planet Earth?
See my answer to 8. The world is imperfect because of sin.

See my answer to 8. Creatures are naturally imperfect and have need of God, and when they have found Him, they find their perfection in Him, when they co-operate with grace.
Thanks a lot

The best answer to your questions is Genesis 1: 26 “Then God said: let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Having a spiritual soul so that we can share in God’s life is the greatest gift of all gifts. For God so loved the world, you and me. John 3: 16.

As for silly questions by atheists, I don’t have a good answer. All I can say is that God loves each person, atheists included.

God’s love is a good day for us. 😃
