If getting an indulgence, how large is the scope of application for sacraments?

For instance, If I want to take the eucharist, how long before or after (in days) can that reception be applied and “counted” towards the indulgence?

8, Confession and reception of the Blessed Sacrament. They do not have to be on the same day, and may be 8 before or after.

For a plenary indulgence, it’s a week before Confession, and a week after. You need to say a prayer for the Pope’s intention, plus read the Bible for a half hour each day, or say a rosary in church, uninterrupted, or with a group anywhere.
