This actually made me laugh. I remember being eleven years old and seeing Episode one, and thinking that Jar Jar Binks was the worst thing ever put in a movie.
 
All I have to offer is: do not blame God for the fallabilities of humans.

But I do feel your pain :confused:
 
God, in His infinite wisdom, knows that a dip into pure tawdry garishness now and then can serve to cultivate in us a hunger and thirst for the sublimely tasteful goodness…that is God.

Episode one has a good villain…that barely says anything.

If someone likes the new trilogy that’s great for them.

Would rather have had Rey find out she was a Skywalker in the Last Jedi.

I don’t hate the prequels or Jar Jar.
I was not raised onn Star wars either.
Recently I made my mother watch the prequels and original trilogy.

I don’t like the added Han Solo and Jabba scene for one it ruins the shock of what Jabba looks like in Return of the Jedi.

I also don’t like the new dancing and song in the Jabba palace scene. AWKWARD.

I never saw anything but the original three (well technically the first two and most of the third on TV), but I would greatly say that there are probably hundreds or even thousands of films far more offensive than the Star Wars prequels
