Well, that’s a bit like saying there is forced belief in mathematics because there are wrong answers in math.

You cannot be a geometry teacher and profess, “This is a square!”

Any geometry teacher who professes such a thing would be a mathematical heretic.

But that’s not to say there is coercion in the mathematical world. There is only truth. And those who espouse truth vs those who reject truth.

Indeed.
Nor can one claim to support religious freedom and persecute those who do not hold their beliefs. Unfortunately, such persecution persists in may parts of this world. However, I do think that Catholics truly do support freedom of religion in this age, and I am thankful for that.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’

This is why you must follow your vocation. If to be married and if to be single or to be a religious.

No, that does not follow!
👍 The reverse is true! Not having any children simply because of the unduly pessimistic view that they may finish up in Hell is undoubtedly evil because if everyone were so negative it would lead to the extinction of the human race. It also ignores the far greater likelihood that they will finish up in Heaven because the vast majority of people are not diabolical…

Pascal has been much maligned for his wager but his reasoning is based on the sound principle that our outlook should always be positive rather than negative. It doesn’t pay to have a cynical, destructive attitude to life. “Nothing shall come of nothing…”

Yup, it also ignores the fact that God, being just, will give every person the opportunity for Salvation.
