I agree. I have actually read Leviticus and Numbers, but only once I became a more serious Bible student and was able to understand those books. The Gospels are understandable and relevant to all Christians, and I would also recommend reading them first.Yeah, really…It was a happy day in my life, when I realized that nobody was going to show up & force me to re-read long lists of the Jewish dietary rules, and what to do with a![]()

Eventually, you will want to check them out, but for a new Bible reader, they can throw you completely.
And very good advice that is, too!!
Someone was saying that they had really found value for them in there. That’s great. It’s why, when you get your head around more accessible Bible portions, that you can read it then. (Or not…).
