In regards to how Luke 24:32 is to be interpreted. I don’t see how that verse, even when taken out of context means that any time our hearts are on fire, or are burning, then this means something is true. Can you explain other scripture to me that might support your viewpoint? One way that Luke 24:32 can be interpreted (taken out of context) is that the men whose hearts were burning where feeling an intense passion in the deepest part of their souls about what was being said. Aren’t we judged based on the deepest desire of our soul? Can’t a person have a heart on fire for the atheist position?No so fast here.
