If jesus were alive today what kind of car would he drive?

He’d still walk or ride a donkey even in this day and age. Jesus was simple.

LOL. We are assuming a lot of things. It’s a hypothetical situation that would presume that he had a license. It’s all in fun, Rebecca, hence the large smiley face I gave earlier 😃

Peace…

Who said I wasn’t having fun? 😃

Oh, come on now, he wouldn’t be driving at all, but rather riding in a VW Microbus…Don’t you remember the lyrics from Convoy?

“and 11 long haired friends of Jesus in a VW Microbus” 😃 I’m sure they would pick him up on the side of the road! 🙂

(I think the lyrics actually said “chartruesse” Microbus, but eh, I always assumed it was a Volkswagon. 😛

I believe he would drive an H2.
I believe He wouldn’t own a car at all.

Jesus was born into poverty to show us how we are to be “poor in spirit” so that we can have the Kingdom of Heaven. Being “poor in spirit” does not necessarily mean to be poor without anything. God gives us what we need to live but it doesn’t mean we should own mansions and have the richest and fanciest cars.

And the “times” do not matter to Jesus. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Now I will read some of the other posts as I have not read any of them yet.

Ohh I agree with Edwin.

That or He’d hitchike. Imagine how many people he could minister to that way.
Wow, that would be awesome! I would want to keep Him in my Toyota Highlander for a long time. I love driving, especially on the highway. I would just let Him drive while He is still sitting in the passanger seat. 😃 I wouldn’t have to worry about getting into any accidents.

Maybe a school bus to look after our children and Bless each one as they step off the bus. I could see Him sitting there and without anyone seeing, making the sign of the cross with His Hold Hands
to Bless them as they left.:signofcross:

Paul
Aw :o that sounds great. 🙂

This makes me think… when we are driving in our cars and we see the person driving in the car next to us, we should see Jesus in that person. We need to see Jesus in the face of every person we see or meet. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Alegre-Fe/Emoticons/Jesus.gif
This would make it easy to drive carefully and defensively instead of driving offensively and with rage when someone cuts us off.

I just want to point out the obvious: Jesus is ALIVE today and He does not drive a car, because He has other means to get around.🙂

Yes, thank you for pointing that out. 🙂 I think this thread was started just to have some fun. We Christians are aware that Jesus is around everywhere in a spiritual sense.

I think this thread could also make us think a little about the way we could see Jesus in every face we see and in every person we meet.

Jesus was a counterculture hippie type, who believed in helping the poor. I think he would drive a Volvo station wagon with all kinds of ecological bumperstickers on the back. 😃

Ahhh but He once drove my car!

I was stranded in the night and it was cold and my Daughter was 4 years old and in the back seat and sick. When the car broke down I prayed in desperation and the car went home - 8 blocks.

My Daughter still sometimes says “Mom, Remember when God pushed our car home?” 😃

oh and to be on topic… It was a Pontiac Grand Am. lol

Of course He did, He can drive any car He wants.
