If killings are only allowed by God's permission does that make God the ultimate killer?

As you know, Satan is not allowed to kill anybody unless God said so. Since it is God who made the final decision, that means Satan is innocent? Confused. 🤔

Haydock Commentary on Isaiah 45
Ver. 7. Create evil, &c. The evils of afflictions and punishments, but not the evil of sin. Ch. — I afflict and comfort my people.
Isaiah 45
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else: there is no God besides me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know who are from the rising of the sun, and they who are from the west, that there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is none else:
7 I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord that do all these things.

Is bodily death somehow bad or evil? If it was, it would never happen. The only way for us to get to heaven, bodily death must occur.

Using the title of your post, “If” is pretty subjective…as my dad used to say, “IF a frog had wings, he wouldn’t bump his butt when he hopped.”

Again, “If” is subjective. Are you making a claim that killing, some or all, are allowed by God?

Rutherford2:
I am refering to shooting at school.
So you are saying God allowed and gave permission for the person to kill someone?
Yes please clarify your question.

God allows evil to exist; however, He doesn’t commission it.

This all has to do with Free Will.

Evil is a privation. It is the lack of goodness that our human acts should have. If we do not do the will of God and disobey, we are performing an act which lacks the goodness it should have. An evil act, then, is a disordered thing, a defective thing. Man is the cause, not God.

God created death, and He decreed an appointed time for each of us.

Have you heard the old (Russian?) saying:
“those who are destined to hang are not going to drown”?

However, God did not command the shooter to commit murder, God forbids murder, but the shooter acted by his choice and ability given to him by God.

God created all life, therefore He has the ultimate authority over it.

Some people get really uneasy with this concept.

God has authority over all of us.
He gave the commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill.
