No, I reckon he sold his ticket. šŸ˜‰
YES, he really did cause my Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, cousin on my granddad’s site who married into the family from another country …bought it!

(hope you know I’m teasing)😃

Luther was kool hey.

What does the bible say about marriage?

Who did Jesus (PBWH) say joins man and women?

If Luther had a true marriage it would be this way.

All other ways are because we are so hard to teach.

All good is with the Father.

His sentences are like shotgun blasts.

how do you know he didn’t get it?? The criminal next to Jesus didn’t get it until the very end.
Since Judas gave all the money back (threw it in their faces) and went off and hanged himself. That would lead me to believe HE DID GET IT, even though it was last minute thing. He may have even repented, only God knows.😃

Where in Scripture does it say that the faithful can leave the Church and start a new one? It doesn’t. Jesus prayed that we all be one as He and the Father are one.

I state my soul on Jesus and his promise which is only fully contained in the Catholic Church.
I really think it is a GOOD thing to ā€œtryā€ other faiths, That will assure you the RCC is THE true faith…and make you a better Catholic. You’ll appreciate it so much more.

The prodigal son strayed, but realized later and came home. You will too eventually. I would venture to say at least 95% of straying Catholics DO come home…I’ll keep you in my prayers and keep the home fires burningā€¦šŸ˜ƒ

I KNOW…and I thought I was still young…I guess I’m really just one of those old people. And I never thought I’d be an old fogey.:crying:

Judas did not seem to have repent. he gave the money back because he felt betrayed by the sanhedrin. judas did not think that the sanhedrin would have Jesus put to death.
he was think more like if Jesus was given to the sanhedrin Jesus followers would react to it and a war would break out and freedom would come to the jews.

In this book, Luther writes that the Jews are a ā€œbase, whoring people, that is, no people of God, and their boast of lineage, circumcision, and law must be accounted as filth.ā€ They are full of the "devil’s feces … which they wallow in like swine,"and the synagogue is an ā€œincorrigible whore and an evil slut ā€¦ā€ He argues that their synagogues and schools be set on fire, their prayer books destroyed, rabbis forbidden to preach, homes razed, and property and money confiscated. They should be shown no mercy or kindness, afforded no legal protection, and these ā€œpoisonous envenomed wormsā€ should be drafted into forced labor or expelled for all time. He also seems to advocate their murder, writing ā€œwe are at fault in not slaying them.ā€

Anyone who advocates the above, is not a Christain, let alone a Saint. I don’t care what else he did. THIS alone proves that he was not of God. No true Christain would advocate genocide.

Are you directing this to me?

Judas spent as much time with Jesus as the others and look what happened. Judas never got it.
I am not so sure, was Jesus (pbwh) ordained to suffer and ā€œdieā€?
He dad say at the supper one of you will betray me.
He did say in the garden your will be done.

Did Judas betray flesh and for fill the promise?

Wow, i had never heard this of him, you have opened my eyes.
May God have mercy on him for this.

Steven John,

I am not sure if I know of one good, impartial work on luther. The books on him either show him as a saint and hero or as a devil. He was somewhere in between.

Luther suffered from something that we call scrupulocity. It is a form of obsessive compulive disorder. He never thought he was good or that his sins were forgiven. It haunted his life and you could see it in his writings and theology. He may have had other issues related to nearly getting killed by lightning once.

Luther thought he was doing right. There is no doubt about that. However, what he did was open the door for division and hatred.

I understand your posts just fine. Just keep typing and loving God.

You know, I will say this. From what I can tell, Luther was not 100% mentally healty. I am not saying that he was crazy or anyhting like that, but I can see that he may have had reduced culpability for his sins.

I would think that a Muslim would agree that we are judged based on our ability to understand. Those who cannot understand or have mental problems are not judged like those who are capable of comprehending and choose to deny God.

Martin Luther admitted he was wrong and was sad that he caused so many divisions before he died.

I agree that all believers should hold this.

God bless
