If praying with pagans is bad then why would Assisi III be okay?

That is, does “don’t pray with pagans” mean “don’t pray with pagans in the same physical space & don’t mingle you’re prayers with the theology of the pagans” or does it only mean “don’t mix the theology of pagans with the theology of Christian prayers” (which is the latter part of the earlier interpretation)?

Not exactly sure what you are getting at. The mere presence of a pagan doesn’t mean we can’t pray. Otherwise, if a pagan visited at Mass, we would have to stop everything.

As for Assisi III, the Pope stated there would be no joint prayer as part of the event, only a pilgrimage and testimonials to peace.

my guess would be do not join in in pagan prayer. while Catholics are allowed to attend Protestant services any Christian is not allowed to attend a black mass wicca service Buddhist service or native american ritual and join in in the prayers. Since this goes against the 1st and 2nd commandments this would be considered a mortal and very serious sin.

A non-Catholic Christian friend of mine comes across as being picky about where he will pray. I thought that it might be against his denominational rules, so I asked him about it. He said there was no rule against it but he didn’t want there to be any evidence that he was praying to another God (or even another concept of the Christian God other than the one of his denomination).

I am going to imagine that all of us pray to GOD, when we pray? There are any numbers of Demigods, which others pray to also…but GOD says that they may all be bypassed because these also are under my control and he approves or disapproves, of all their thoughts, desires and willingness of prayer requests too. He says, I am the Cause of all Causes…GOD says " Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform…do that as an offering to me". Be more Godly in all your life’s contacts, act in all Goodness towards all humanity…do not separate from the human race and be prejudice to any humanity…pray your prayers, anywhere and anytime. Be awakened to be true to your spirit soul and GOD. GOD sits in your heart and hears all your thoughts, desires, and thing you will for…Pray too that anyone who is looking for GOD, all humanity, finds him…this prayer to GOD will benefit the development of your soul, as you to ready your soul, to be found worthy by GOD, to return to him, GODHEAD, at death/transmigration.
