Hi guys, this is an open-ended question. If Roe v Wade were to be overturned, how should the government / criminal justice system respond to abortions that are performed anyway?
One assumption is that in his own time, God always wins, and that includes having just laws.I doubt it will be overturned.
You may consider this extreme, but I say criminal charges.Hi guys, this is an open-ended question. If Roe v Wade were to be overturned, how should the government / criminal justice system respond to abortions that are performed anyway?
Amen.Pro-lifers - and I am vehemently pro-life - need to start thinking outside of the usual box. We’ve been trying this overturn-Roe thing for nearly 50 years. To paraphrase Dr. Phil, how’s that working for us? Maybe a new strategy is in order?
Great question. Important for any discussion of abortion.Hi guys, this is an open-ended question. If Roe v Wade were to be overturned, how should the government / criminal justice system respond to abortions that are performed anyway?
That’s a big IF. I would say that is an extremely unlikely scenario. Cross that bridge when you get there. If Roe v Wade were to be overturned
Yup. I wouldn’t want my doctors/family etc to start thinking that I murdered my child because of a miscarriage. Even worse if I vocally expressed that I wasn’t happy with the pregnancy.Women who cannot leave their home states will be able to acquire abortion pills and even over-the-phone counseling to follow through. There is no way that it’s realistic, practical, or even charitable to interrogate every woman who has a miscarriage
My conscience doesn’t sit well with the confiscatory taxation for government assistance when there are plenty of faith-based alternatives available. In fact most of the well-funded ones get government assistance of their own, so barring direct assistance, these mothers-to-be are still benefiting from federal funds and the confiscatory nature of taxation creating revenue streams for the programs.Unfortunately it seems like the people who would vote to imprison women for aborting aren’t the people who would vote for such government assistance. Unfortunately it seems like the people who would vote for such government assistance aren’t the people who are against abortion in the first place.
